Sources, kept distinct

The conference catalog follows CCF 7th edition (2026), released March 31, 2026 and corrected April 9. Its reference links often point to DBLP; they are not presented as official conference websites. This independent project is not affiliated with or endorsed by CCF.

Recent committee records and historical FPGA records come from official conference websites and their archives. Each appointment links to its source and carries the date it was checked.

Architecture history also uses the SIGARCH Architecture PCDB and its public spreadsheet, captured September 12, 2026. Those records are explicitly labeled SIGARCH PCDB: they have not been independently checked against every original conference website. The dataset supplies program-chair, vice-chair, program-member, and external-review roles, but not historical affiliations.

The PCDB import supplements editions without a conference-site roster; it does not overwrite those rosters. TopPicks columns are excluded because they are not a conference in this CCF catalog. Blank spreadsheet cells are not evidence that someone did not serve.

What coverage means

Complete

All committees on the cited source pages have been captured at the time checked. It does not establish that the conference has no other committees.

Partial

Some published roles or committees have been captured. The edition page explains the scope.

Not yet indexed / unavailable

No roster has been captured. This is missing data, not an empty committee. The FPGA archive, for example, explicitly marks 2011 missing and some 2012–2013 pages broken.

People, roles, and time

A published appointment establishes a role, not individual reviewing activity, workload, or papers reviewed. Multiple roles are retained. Affiliations are copied as listed by each source and are not treated as current profile affiliations. A historical website may itself display a person's subsequently updated profile affiliation; we cannot reconstruct an earlier employer from that alone.

Standing committees without an explicit edition or term are shown as dated series-level observations, not invented annual appointments. Future-edition listings are published appointments, not claims that the work has already been completed.

Institution identities

The affiliation directory groups unambiguous institution names, abbreviations, and aliases using an offline Research Organization Registry (ROR) v2.12 snapshot. Joint affiliations contribute once to each identified institution; the original source wording remains visible on every appointment. Distinct campuses, legal entities, and historical organization IDs are not merged by name similarity. Ambiguous names remain provisional rather than being assigned to a guessed institution.

ROR institution metadata is available under CC0. The country-name vocabulary used to recognize location suffixes comes from GeoNames via ROR and is attributed under CC BY 4.0. Missing institutions are not inferred from a person's current profile.

Identity and corrections

People have stable IDs, independent of their names. Conference-site identities are connected through profile links or corroborating name-and-institution evidence. A PCDB row is linked to an existing profile only when the published name and an edition-specific role identify one unambiguous candidate. Otherwise it remains a source-scoped profile.

This conservative approach leaves some duplicate or spelling-variant profiles. Profile counts are indexed identities, not a definitive count of unique individuals. Each profile explains its identity evidence. Name similarity alone is not a reason to merge records.

Source-listed names without a corroborated identity remain visible on conference and affiliation rosters as Identity not yet linked. They are not combined into a shared person, added to personal histories, or scored in the leaderboard. Source coverage can be complete while identity linking remains incomplete.

The 2023–2026 collection coverage table distinguishes missing rosters from years when an event was not held. Unavailable sources and unpublished sections are reported explicitly; an unvisited or unparsed accessible page is not evidence that no committee exists.

The linked source is the reference for each appointment. When a record appears incorrect, compare it with that source; a missing or differently spelled profile does not establish that someone did not serve.

CCF categories

Categories describe the catalog version shown, not historical classifications and not a ranking of people. CCF describes its directory as publication recommendations, not a basis for evaluating individual academic achievements.
